Objective/Goal:
The objective of the "So You Wanna Be" video series was to create engaging, informative 60-90 second videos showcasing diverse characters for cosplay. The goal was to establish a library of evergreen character spotlights, offering valuable tips and guidance to aspiring cosplayers for years to come.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the creator and host of the series, responsibilities included researching, scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing each video. The aim was to curate content that showcased various character cosplays, using iMovie and Premiere Pro for editing.
Collaborations:
The series highlighted other cosplayers, showcasing their exemplary portrayals, providing exposure, and contributing to a diverse representation within the cosplay community. This collaborative effort aimed to boost reach and engage in word-of-mouth marketing.
Strategies Implemented:
Utilized a structured template script for each video segment, covering character overviews, costume and makeup tips, DIY cosplay solutions, and resources for aspiring cosplayers. Engaged the audience by immersing them in the character's world.
Key Deliverable:
Delivered engaging 60-90 second videos for characters like Barbie, Betty Boop, and Bob's Burgers, providing valuable tips and insights for cosplayers to embody these characters.
Results and Achievements:
Achieved high engagement rates on platforms like TikTok (48.67% engagement) and Instagram (2192 likes) for the Betty Boop spotlight video. The Bob's Burgers video garnered 915 likes, 138 saves, and 33 new follows, showcasing strong audience interest and potential for community growth.

Utilized iMovie and Premiere Pro for video editing, crafting visually appealing and informative content for the audience. Employed structured scripts and engaging storytelling techniques to captivate viewers and provide valuable cosplay insights.
